Lake Norman Language Academy is a small local business founded 14 years ago that offers Spanish, Portuguese, ESL - English as a second language, German, French, and foreign language classes to the residents of the Lake Norman Area, Charlotte, North Carolina, USA, and abroad through our online courses. 

Our professional native-speaking instructors have years of teaching experience and teach their language and culture with compassion and passion. Now with our online classes, we can reach customers in all USA and worldwide. 

We aim to make Spanish and other foreign language classes fun, personalized, and convenient!

My name is Abigayl Pansini.  I was born and raised in Perú. I started a travel agency in Peru right after leaving college, mainly with the idea of being able to travel around the world, which was my dream at that age. My family still operates the travel agency in Peru until this day. I also started another company as an American Airlines Representative. I managed both family businesses for almost 12 years when I decided it was time to try to reach my next goal in life. 

At Tulane University, I fell in love with the E.S.L. program. The professors and the staff were fun, friendly, and helpful, and the college life in the U.S.A. was fun. Who would know that years later,  I would be on this business? I went back to Peru, and a few years later, I moved to the U.S.A. to pursue my Master's Degree in Business Administration. During that period, I got married and was later blessed with the love of my life - two amazing children. Looking for ways to encourage my children to learn more Spanish, I came up with the idea of teaching my language to kids in a fun way. 

I taught the Spanish language at Woodlawn School (Davidson), H.O.M.E. at Grace Covenant Church (Cornelius), McKinney Academy (Davidson), Davidson Elementary, Goddard School (Mooresville),  South Iredell High School (tutoring the I.B. program - Troutman), and the after Spanish school programs at Lake Norman Elementary, Woodland Heights Elementary School, Coddle Creek Elementary (Mooresville), Little Scholars Academy of Lake Norman (Huntersville), Christian Montessori School of Lake Norman (Huntersville) and Cornelius Elementary School (Cornelius).

I love what I am doing, teaching my language and working with students of all ages. While I had the idea of starting a company here for a few years, the right time finally came 14 years ago. Now with the help of a group of talented and passionate instructors, we are making it possible to expand our services to the Lake Norman area, North Carolina, and beyond with the same quality and passion we started.

It is gratifying to see my students' progress. I have seen my young students blossoming, developing self-confidence, making their sentences with pride, and speaking Spanish while having fun. My adult students are amazing. We have fun, laugh, relax, talk about our lives, become friends, and speak Spanish! Each of my students is different and special, and I love them all!
